Frequently Asked Questions on Marine GEOtronic® Products

Peltech S.r.l. well known for their work and research in the field of thermoelectricity, manufactures several products that make use of the most advanced technology available at present: Technology that employs the “Peltier Effect” for both heating and cooling in a manner that avoids thermal shocks, is free from vibration and compressor noise while using no gas. Additionally all Peltech products are made of corrosion resistant materials which need no specific maintenance.

One of the first products introduced by Peltech using the Peltier Effect was a line of aquarium temperature regulating devices which impressed the industry, press and consumer alike, providing a smooth and continuous thermoregulation for both fresh and saltwater tanks. www.OceanGeotronic.com

THE NEWEST AND MOST EXCITING use of Peltech technology is now available to the Marine category with the introduction of DREAM, PISOLO_8.32 AND DRYBOAT dehumidifiers and temperature management systems.  They are certain to add comfort as well as enhance boat care to all who appreciate the challenges of dealing with humidity and temperature changes on the water in general and in the staterooms in particular.

The GEOtronic® DREAM systems are silent, easy to install and maintain pleasant temperatures as well as efficient dehumidification in both summer and winter. Click above for features, benefits, different model types as well as a copy of the installation and use manual. You will soon know why the product group took on the name “dream”.

The GEOtronic® PISOLO_8.32 is a unit that (by using a more efficient liquid to liquid heat exchanger and a separate fan-coil) grants a higher cooling/heating performance than the DREAM model.  Click above for features and benefits.

Peltech’s DRYBOAT is the first thermotronic dehumidifier available for the boating industry. It is small and compact and equipped with continuous drainage to handle condensation. Dryboat was created to deal with the effects of the cold and humid period of winter when the boat is not in use.  It can work when the boat is in water or on dry land, and is easily attached to the bulkhead. Dryboat employs a low tension power supply at either 12 or 24 volts which can be controlled by a timer. Click above to see the full list of specifications for Dryboat.
